I went to a two year women's college and then to obtain my bachelors degree at a baptist women's college. My debt was finally paid off this past summer. I know I still have to deal with seminary expense eventually. My first two years of college were worth every cent of going away to learn academically, socially, spiritually, and mentally. Now, I did learn from my transfer school, but I don't really see how it will be helping me. While I was not in an actual sorority, my first two years were much like it. I have had connections beyond college from other alumnae because of being apart of it.
The point about going to a Christian college to be around Christians is funny and false. Secular schools have the groups that people can be involved in to have those Christian connections. Students can find the other activites to be involved in when they are on a Christian campus. Yes in classes it may be a little more of a challenge, but some Christian campuses have that as well.
I don't think everyone has to go to college. Doing the Remington/DeVry thing is a good option for many. I do think it is helpful if students will go away from the home bubble during this time to figure out how to live their life. College at least allows a somewhat safer environment for gaining that independence.

Then I guess to be a good store it should be. "Merry Messiahmas" or "Merry Jesusmas" if we really want emphasis on Christ. FOTF did used to have some good things but after the political season, this is not a smart move of ministry for them. I like saying Happy Holidays because of the alliteration. For me it is more important to have a smart budget when picking out where to shop.

Did you ever sit down and just think about why you believe what you believe? I'll list some reasons:

1. An adult told you to believe something when you were a child.
2. Other people around you believed it.
3. It was interesting and made you feel good.
4. You just knew in your heart it was true.
5. It seemed like to fit in, you needed to believe.
6. It provided some meaning to your life that you could not develop
    on your own.
7. Everything that went against that belief must have been wrong.
Are these really the reasons you want as the foundation for your worldview?

Higher education lets you develop your worldview beyond one book. Don't be afraid to let go. Freedom of thought is wonderfully liberating. Don't let others tell you "have to" believe. Education isn't threatening. It's enlightening. There are many explanations that are substantiated by evidence discovered by people without an agenda to distort the truth to fit a dogmatic worldview. Higher education only seeks the truth as it is discovered through the scientific method and peer review. This is the modern method of discovery. I encourage you all to seek the truth through higher education which requires that you read more than one book.

I'm confused. Where would the bodily by-product go if you didn't flush it? Are there little magic elves that will keep your toilet clean?? To me, not flushing without some sort of cleaning system only creates a problem where there wasn't one before.

Maybe if we had better tested the low-flow toilets that need flushing at least twice or automatic toilets that flush if you open the door to go into the stall, we wouldn't waste so much water.

It would seem that you and me have the same name Mr. Bussey. Therefore, if you haven't guessed already, I must confess I was googling myself. I just found this interesting and you're probably finding this creepy so I will leave you alone now. P.S. The Bus and Busman are totally awesome nicknames, right?
