Lunch with The Atheist…

Mike Landrum and I are in Atlanta for the Catalyst Conference.  Today we had lunch with Ask an Atheist at Bahama Breeze.  A3 is one of the most genuine, nice people you will ever meet.  He allowed us to pray for our food and he even paid! :)  Thanks A3!

Then Mike and I went to my old church Peachtree Corners to see everyone there.  We are back at our motel room and are looking forward to a great conference this week. We are scheduled to see Bryan Riley, Chuck Bryce, Stuart Delony, Cole Phillips and others.  I will give you all of the highlights as they come!

Confessions of a Recovering Pharisee TV

It has been in the works for 6 weeks but I finally got it up and going. Uggh. I’ve tried every video camera and gadget. Then I finally got it working and it was too large. By luck I was able to reduce the size and now it will become easier–I hope!

My son Jacob will be the camera operator/editor and my daughter Hope will produce and edit. You can go to Pharisee TV here.

Looking ahead to 2008

2007 is behind me and to say it was a tough year would be an understatement.  But I’m not going to dwell on the past.  I’m excited about what 2008 has in store there are too many awesome things coming that I’m pumped.

  • I’m proud of my family and how they have withstood some tough times
  • Cassandra and I have been praying that our children would “Experience God” and when we stepped out in faith we were amazed at how God has been moving in their lives.
  • I can’t go into a lot of details yet, but God is at work around us and we have decided to join in His mission.  Details will follow soon as I’m allowed to say.
  • I’m excited about the gift that David Phillips gave me in my own domain name.  There are some new additions I will be adding soon
  • Confessions of a Recovering Pharisee TV will begin at the latest next week.  It may begin tomorrow.
  • I’m amazed at how God has used this site to meet and minister to new people.  I get emails every week from people all around the world who are recovering from legalism just like me.
  • I’m thrilled that so many non-believers feel welcome to share their ideas.  I know you don’t believe in prayer but my prayer is that we can continue to understand each other better.  You have helped me more than you know.
  • To my regular friends and commenter’–thanks for sharing your life with me.  I’m so glad that we can learn from one-another.  Iron does sharpen iron.
  • I am going to add one or two more chapters to my book.  Or I will begin a new based on what I’ve learned the last few years.
  • I will publish the book this year but my circumstances don’t allow for me to pay someone to edit it at this time.  So either a publisher will come to their senses or I will self-publish. :)
  • I will continue to grow in my personal time with God.
  • I will continue to allow God to grow my family.
  • I will continue to grow as a husband, father, son, brother, friend and minister.
  • I’m going to worship God in a more real way than ever before.
  • Bama will win the SEC and take back their rightful place in the elite football programs in the country.

Thanks again for sharing your time and thoughts here.  I’m truly blessed by your presence.

Confessions of a Recovering Pharisee Mobile Edition is on line!

Filed under blogs, cell phones, technology

If you have a Smart phone or any mobile device you can now surf Confessions of a Recovering Pharisee Mobile Edition. This a cool program I downloaded from Andy Moore. It is all of the posts and comments. It is much quicker on my Treo than my actual site. So when you are dragged to the mall or some other place you don’t want to be you can converse with all of your friends here at Confessions of a Recovering Pharisee.

You don’t have do to anything but type in www.kevinbussey.com and your phone or mobile device automatically directs you to the mobile edition. Cool. Check it out!
