End of World in 2012?
Marie Exley of Colorado Springs is convinced that Armageddon, the end of the world as written of in the Bible, will come next year.
Her conviction is so strong that, though unemployed, she’s paid $1,200 to buy advertising space on 10 Springs bus benches through October to get the word out. The ad says, “Save the Date! Return of Christ: May 21, 2011, WeCanKnow.com.”
“I want to do all I can to get the message out,” Exley, 31, said.

Thank you Ms. Exley for setting us all straight. I’ll start packing today!

I smell a cult…
i feel a painful reminder of “88 reasons” why Christ will return in 1988….and then followed by “89 Reasons why Christ will return in 1989 (I missed one)” ha!
This 2012 date actually comes from Mayan mythology and calendar dating.
From Peter and Paul’s time followers of Christ were convinced the end of time would come in their generation.
It hasn’t!! Who knows???
The bottom line is that each of us has an end of time and that should be greater concern than the nebulous “Second Coming” theories / groups gathering / making an obsession to take our minds off the reality of living a life for Christ whenever it ends.
