When things don’t go right?

Published by Kevin Bussey at 4:00 am under anxiety

I’m curious how you handle it when things don’t go as you planned? Do you look at it as a opportunity as James 1:2-4 says? Do you believe all things work together for good as Romans 8:28 says? Do you just go with the flow? Do you get angry? Do you laugh? What do you do to cope when things go south?

    Generally, I don’t.

I suppose that’s, for me, the essence of trusting God (for the results).

Certainly I pay attention to how things turn out in case there’s something I need to learn about others, or about my own actions. But if I trust God to bring about His will, I kind of have to divorce my own actions and expectations from what God does about it.

When things do not go “right” is asked as if we have enough information to decide if something is happening as it should or shouldn’t. As Ezekiel said…..God knows…we simply don’t
