Who in their right mind would ever teach Muslims to worship Prophet Mohammed?????? Giving worship to a human being is the unforgivable sin of Islam.

“Use her to turn the nation around”?? What does that mean? To admit that the war in Iraq is based on a monumental, covetous LIE? To eschew this insanity in favour of starting a national health system, which could easily use the trillions now owed to China? To care for your millions living in the poverty line? I would LOVE to see such a thing- but so far, nothing I have read about the moose-killing beauty queen gives me any reason to hope for these things.

The thing is, there’s a context here that isn’t getting explained. So-called “witch-hunting” in Kenya can be an evil practice. Earlier this year, eleven people were burned to death by an angry mob that started rioting when those people were accused of being witches. In Congo, children are routinely accused of being sorcerers, not because of anything they’ve done, but because pastors want their families to pay money to get an exorcism. Typically, those children are thrown out onto the streets to survive on their own.

I have no problem with anyone praying for Palin, but I have a huge problem with those who use religion to incite violence and hatred. Muthee is part of that movement whether he intends to be or not.

Phil may well be right. So often, the press doesn’t get it. It really does seem that when they go after someone because of their faith or family or values, the public’s anger turns toward the media and not the person. Hopefully, they’ll never learn that lesson and keep dishing it out.

YEP, the “press” doesn’t understand “Sister” Palin’s spiritual heritage and her relationship with God. But the more they ridicule her and her faith, they (the press) is almost guaranteeing that every conservative Pentecostal in the nation will cast their vote for McCain/Palin in 34 days.

The desire to make Palin look evil is laughable in itself. She puts herself in plenty of embarrassing positions anyway, without them having to dig.

I’ll defend her as a Christian very strongly. As a politician, I’m not so sure.
