CHRISTMAS BANNED BY COLLEGE in UK

Christmas and Easter have been scrubbed from a college’s calendars in case they offend non-Christians. Holidays at these times will now be referred to simply as “end of term breaks”. The move will “increase inclusion and diversity”, claim bosses at Yorkshire Coast College in Scarborough, North Yorks. And it is in line with Ofsted guidelines, they say.
“There are people who are petrified that they offend the minority but what they are actually doing is offending the majority. It’s political correctness gone mad.”

Breaks at schools around here haven’t been called Christmas break in years. It’s winter break and spring break. The Brits are actually behind us on this one.
You know…we are blessed or really behind the times…the principal at the school where my wife teaches still calls it Christmas and Easter break…
Hopefully, Kevin, no one from the ACLU reads your blog…if they do…I am from California…

When people care about the minority, they might be demonstrating a Christlike humility and care for others rather than a selfish arrogant disregard for their neighbor!

Banned, and rightly so! We don’t want pagan solar rites in a Christian country, do we???!!!
