No one is with a million. Good luck to her. And people please, there is no god to save other, just a belief to keep people in check by the real Mob, religious (so called) leaders. Science rules

Here is my first thought...if she's going to give it away anyway, why not get college tuition out of it. (Sorry, that was my alter; bitter and calloused side) BUT- then I come back to reality and admit that is wrong of me to think. If she is considering this she is probably not all that concerned about morals etc.

It's too bad though. Unfortunately it doesn't surprise me all that much.

Did I just read she's getting a degree in marriage and family counseling...cock-a-do-doodle- do, I've heard it all. How about working hard, paying for education with blood, sweat, and tears, maybe then she'll end with a degree and who knows, maybe a little self-respect taboot!

Young American's these days, spoiled, expecting a handout and when they don't get one, they give it up. Ugh.

<em>rolanda's last blog post..<a href='http://petersonpeople.wordpress.com/2008/09/11/i-think-is-really-gonna-hurt-sarah-palin/' rel="nofollow">This is really gonna hurt Sarah Palin?</a></em>

If true, this is certainly heart-breaking. My heart goes out to her.

Will she some day realize what's she's done and live with inconsolable grief and regret the rest of her life?

When we started dating, I told Lisa something that took her quite aback at first:

I told her that I didn't want us to kiss until our wedding day.

Now you gotta know this too: she was the very first girlfriend that I had (and it wasn't for lack of trying, either) and I was the first boyfriend that she ever had (which still dumbfounds me 'cuz she really is more beautiful than she knows). Meaning that up 'til that time, neither one of us had kissed before. Ever. Well you know how I mean that...

And this sounds crazy, but we had an AMAZING dating relationship after that. Abiding by that one simple rule meant that we took the focus off of physical intimacy, and onto everything else, especially the spiritual component of our friendship. We didn't get to see too much of each other anyway (I was living 3 hours away at the time so it was mostly on weekends) but when we did get together, we found ourselves enjoying our time a lot more because we didn't have to worry about the temptation at all.

The *one* time that we came close to overcoming that boundary, and it was really more or less a joke anyway, was a few month after we got engaged and I was leaving her apartment one night. I told her that I couldn't take it anymore, so I folded up several paper towels, put them between our lips and we kissed through that. I've still got 'em in a plastic baggie too, labeled "Chris and Lisa's First Kiss" :-P

Well, lo and behold, we did make it to our wedding day. And we had the very first kiss of our lives in front of our family and friends. Looking back, I wouldn't take anything for that moment. And it wasn't a very hard thing at all to wait for that much, either.

Sounds crazy, but it does work. Did for us anyway :)

:( Very sad. It reminds me of a young woman I worked with one time who said she didn't want to become a Christian if she had to give up pre-martial sex.
