Jesus appears in ultrasound

A Florida mother says the birth of baby Sabastian was a gift from God. After suffering a recent miscarriage, Amy Janer was nerve-racked about her third pregnancy until she saw a 3D ultrasound at 32 weeks. Janer said the face of Jesus can be seen, with the beard leaning against the baby. For the expecting couple, it was more than comforting, it was assurance from above that they would have a smooth pregnancy.
Janer gave birth to a healthy baby boy on June 11. Janer said she and her husband are devout Catholics, but not fanatical. They wanted to share their story in hopes of strengthening the faith of others, she said.

So that’s what Jesus looks like. Thanks Amy!
What do you think?

Is there no end to this madness? Actually, I’m speechless. I have some thoughts that are better left unsaid.

So many questions…
How’d He get in there? I mean, I thought it would be pretty cramped for the baby inside a womb, but Jesus can fit in there too? If Jesus’s face is in there…isn’t His whole body in there too?
Couldn’t it be a guy that just looks like Jesus? I don’t think He’s the only one with a beard? He might have even shaved His beard off by now, its been 2,000+ years.
If I were the parents, I think I’d be more concerned with the HOLE IN THE BABY’S HEAD!
Seriously, though I’m happy the baby was born healthy and someday I hope they see Jesus in the boy and not just next to him.
Kevin, just the other day you wrote about Daniel and SMA…didn’t “an angel” appear in the fire with them? If that’s possible, isn’t this just a modern example of the presence of Jesus in today’s world…
Okay, enough joking around, someone will take me seriously if I keep going…and I certainly don’t want to move your blog this direction!

So that is where Jesus has been hiding? All these years of searching and He has been right there all along inside us. I’m sure there is probably a good sermon in all this imagery. You know, I believed preachers when they said Jesus is inside us all…. But this is just well, I never knew they meant that LITERALLY.
What are the chances that an ultrasound image would look like what we imagine that Jesus looked like? I’d say the chances are very slim. It seems inconsistent to me that someone who believes that prayer was answered because of an unlikely coincidence would also believe that other unlikely events were miracles. I wonder, which is more unlikely: praying for God to take a car before it is stolen, or finding Jesus’ image in an ultrasound image? Just how unlikely does an event have to be before it is considered to be a miracle and not just a coincidence?
Why are the images that people see always is something hard to see the picture? Heck, I tell my pregnant friend not to bother sending those picture cause i think it ia a mental exercise trying to see the baby blob.
At least, it did give her some comfort, even if it is strange to us. don’t wanna mess with a pregnant woman’s head!
Hey 3A…I am certainly inclined to agree with you. I am hard-pressed to either call this a miracle or even to say “that is Jesus’ face.” When you consider all that Kevin has been putting on his site about “seeing Jesus’ face” I think it is pretty conclusive that we have some pretty whacked people and/or some who are just looking for anything. Personally, I think it is making some Christ-followers look pretty stupid and asinine. I, for one, do not want to be included in their game. It is almost like “please leave me out of it” (spoken very loudly and forcefully).
