Comments on: Iranian website promotes Holocaust denial

It’s amazing what people will believe when they want to believe it - even in the face of strong evidence that is contrary to those beliefs. I would be interested to see the different ways they attempt to discredit the evidence (like claiming that the evidence was planted or doesn’t exist, that Zionists conspire to lie about what the evidence really means, etc.). I’m sure such arguments are quite appealing to those who have a steak in believing that the holocaust never happened.

I’m just waiting for someone to say “teach the controversy” in history classes :))

I cannot believe someone would postulate such a thing (though someone who specializes in astrology and crop circles wouldn’t surprise me) with all the evidence that exists that speaks otherwise. I suppose all of those killed in the “Final Solution” just got beamed up in a spaceship and disappeared or something.

I met a survivor only 6 days ago. I would really like to hear him explain the tattoo on her left arm, and what she went through.

The first time that I saw one of those blue lines of numbers tattooed on the wrist of a sweet little Jewish lady, was one of the most indelibly haunting moments of my life.

I’ve met several Holocaust survivors over the years, including at least one Schindlerjuden (person who was among the thousand or so sheltered by Oskar Schindler). One of them told me about being at Treblinka 1 (the work camp). There was no question about what was going on at Treblinka 2, he said, because the stench of the burning fat from the crematory filled his nostrils practically every moment.

I defy anyone to tell me that this guy was making it up.

For the country which didn’t do what they claim didn’t happen, to put up museums and documentation centers to memorialize what did happen, in detail, so that it might never happen again, would REALLY be STUPID if it hadn’t ever happened.
