Maybe we can learn from teenagers….

Several classmates of a teen who threatened to blow up his high school have sent him a Bible with messages of forgiveness and support. Chesterfield High senior Parker Anderson tells WBTW-TV he hopes 18-year-old Ryan Schallenberger will read the messages and the Bible and it will change his life.
The Bible was given to prosecutor Jay Hodge, who will try to get it to Schallenberger in jail. Schallenberger faces several state and federal charges, including attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction. A federal agent testified last month that Schallenberger told police he wanted to die, go to heaven and kill Jesus.

Sounds like we can learn a lot from these teens.
What do you think?

Good for them. Hey, at least Schallenberger concedes that Jesus is real and that He is alive. That is a starting point for conversation.

I agree most definitely with you. “To err is human; to forgive is divine.” I can’t remember the whole saying but part of it says, “We are never more like God than when we forgive.” Kudos to these teens. Perhaps Schallenberger will be able to find the answer to his pain.

Bill(Cycleguy),
To err may be human, but as it turns out, forgiveness is human too:

A3,
What can I say? You are one smart dude especially if you have read all of those papers AND understand them!
I haven’t (read them) and don’t (understand them). However, and you will probably disagree with this: I don’t believe forgiving someone is a natural thing for people. We had to learn it from Someone.
BTW: I may not always agree with you (or anyone else for that matter) but I do appreciate your comments no K’s blog.
