When an Ohio woman looked at an ultrasound she expected to see a developing fetus. Instead, she saw what she believes to be an image of Jesus Christ, MyFox Cleveland reported on its Web site.

Monet Sledge, from Lorain, Ohio, got an ultrasound in preparation for her first baby and was shocked when she saw what appeared to be an image of Christ on the Cross, the Web site reported.

    Kevin, where do you find these things?! You’d think the media would ignore these for the obvious reason that we don’t know what Jesus or Mary looked like, but I suppose they draw attention to their programs.

    Surely you don’t think it’s just a coincidence too! I mean what are the chances of two unlikely coincidences in the span of only a week (referencing the Jesus on the beer bottle post of last week)?

    I mean, what are the chances that something resembling a cross could just appear in the ultrasound? Surely this is a miracle of some sort, and if it’s a miracle from God, it would make no sense just to stick Leonardo da Vinci’s drawing on it - it must be Jesus on the cross… that is unless it’s an attack of the devil. In that case, it’s probably the Flying Nun or a cork screw or someone like that

    I must agree: where in the world do you find these things? :) On a more “serious” note: this may be the cream of the crud with Jesus sightings. Oh man.

    I wonder: how in the world did the cross get in there?

    My wife and I had a baby in February. We had two ultrasounds done during her pregnancy. Kevin, I have better than 20/20 eyesight, I am somewhat smart, and I try to keep informed about many things. But you know what, in looking at those ultrasounds, you could see just about anything you wanted to see in those ultrasounds, except a baby, that is! :) The technician kept referring to the baby as “You see that little thing that looks like a peanut? That’s your baby!”
