The "Coexist" placard [The crescent and star for Islam; the pentagram for Wicca; the relativity formula for science; the star of David for Judaism; the Karma Wheel dotting the i for Buddhism; the Tao symbol for Taoism; the cross for Chrisitianity] does not work if one worldview seeks to destroy, subjugate the others. There are claims that there are moderate factions and I should be leery of generalizations but from first hand experience, Islam definitely does like playing well with others.

I have seen this movie twice, first on the iMax screen in Chattanooga and then in the local theater. Both were great, but the iMax experience is amazing. I have always been a fan of U2 and appreciate the way their faith is displayed in their music. I was especially glad to learn that Adam Clayton had finally given his life to Christ in the last few years. If yo haven't seen this movie, go! It is worth every penny and in some ways better than seeing them live.

Cole,

Our group was interactive. We held our cell phones up and I even yelled "Freebird!" :)

I thought the setlist was laid out with a definite message threading through the whole show. The mirrored guitar that The Edge played was cool. The message "Coexist" is one that is stretching for evangelicals, but so necessary, as the alternative to coexistence seems to be annihilation, which seems to be the direction the world is heading. I wish the audience had been more interactive, rather than just sitting as an observer. It was kind of like a modern church service where the band is rocking and the congregation is comatose. Minus the goofy glasses.
