Totally agree that we so often teach half grace. Model it too…. Personally, I think there is a real misconception to grace. Ut oh, I better stop there.. Otherwise you might have to show me some! lol
That is such a great subject. So often I fall back into a false understanding of grace and what it really means. I find so many have a different view or understanding of what grace really is. Erin
I like the production changes. Good intro, to the point.
Great message! We do need to have grace for one another. I too often try to make myself feel better by finding something wrong with someone else. I need to realize how often God is gracious to me, about once per nanosecond.
I think that our response to God’s grace should move beyond gratitude (God has treated me kindly, so I respond well to that), although Jesus did teach positively about that kind of response (woman/perfume/feet/hair story). I also see God’s faithful treatment of me with grace. When I look at Peter’s and Paul’s sermons to the Jews in Acts, they appeal to God’s faithfulness in being gracious. So, now, I can TRUST that God will deal with me graciously even if I fail to respond with gratitude; that deserves my greater affection.
We love you, Kevin!
There is always plenty of GRACE for you….
