We can’t allow motorcycle discrimination!
[From Detroit News]
The Rev. Ben Gilbert drew a weekend crowd to a Michigan church as 200 bikers rallied against discrimination between motorcyclists. Such discrimination between owners of foreign-made fiberglass bikes by those who ride steel ones is known in the motorcycle culture as “motorcyclism.”
Read about it here.
[From me]
I want to go on record as being against discrimination of all kinds. Owners of foreign-made, fiberglass bikes are people too. Oh the humanity the hate has got to stop!
What do you think?

Once the Alabama fans give it a rest with Auburn, then we can know peace. Until then, let the protests continue.
Ditto what onelittleman said.
Also, Kevin, what about discrimination against gay couples? That’s how they feel about it. (I’ve asked.)
Joe,
1st, this was a sarcastic post. 2nd, I’m sorry for any pain people go thru but the Bible is clear that homosexuality is a sin. So what do you want me to do? Say I’m sorry you are sinning against God, but I don’t want to hurt your feelings so I won’t tell you that you are sinning?
I can’t do that. I love all people but sin is sin and even if it hurts people to tell we must. We don’t need to be angry about it but I stand by the Bible-period.
whoa dude, let’s be clear that i’m not gay. i was just playing devil’s advocate. and trying to make you think about your words… which can and will be used against you in the court of public opinion.
Joe,
I know you well enough to know that. I’m just saying the only opinion I’m concerned with is God’s. I do agree we must speak the truth in love.
GROUP HUG!!!
: )
Behold what manner of love the Father has given unto us, that we should be called the sons of God and love Harley and Vulcan and Yamaha and Suzuki and ….eveyone except Gold Wingers…do they really ride bikes or two wheel cars?
For I wish you were either cold or hot instead of Lukewarm. Get off the fence.
Foreign-made Fiberglass motorcycles? I’ve had a Honda Gold Wing, Suzuki 250, Suzuki Rotary, and a Yamaha Venture. The were as much made of steel as any Hardly Abelson ever was.
Bet the article wasn’t written by a rider.
onelittleman’s was funny…and too accurate!
People in Texas can still be accepted even if they don’t own a truck.
We can still frequent other blogs weather they are blogger, xanga, wordpress, myspace, or godsblogs.
ugh…we can still read from those who misuse the word whether instead of weather. no discrimation for grammar mistakes.
Hmmph! The problem is, they don’t go far enough! It may be American, but it’s not a REAL motorcycle if it has rear shocks, anything other than coil springs on the front forks, shifts anwhere other than on the tank using a hand, and has valve covers other than knuckle-shaped and made of cast iron!
(I learned to ride on a rigid frame ‘39 Harley knucklehead with a sixty-one inch engine, tank shift, foot clutch, and springer front end. Prices have changed though–my father paid $750 for it, brand-new.)
Janna, I’m glad someone got the joke. Thanks for catching it.
I never knew Joe was gay…
Janna - Well actually not owning a truck in Texas is more tolerated than accepted.
