It may be American, but it's not a REAL motorcycle if it has rear shocks, anything other than coil springs on the front forks, shifts anwhere other than on the tank using a hand, and has valve covers other than knuckle-shaped and made of cast iron! (I learned to ride on a rigid frame '39 Harley knucklehead with a sixty-one inch engine, tank shift, foot clutch, and springer front end. Prices have changed though--my father paid $750 for it, brand-new.) Hmmph! The problem is, they don’t go far enough!
