This is a test….

Posted at 12:52 pm under blogs

This is a test. This is not a real post. Had this been a real post there would have been a link pointing you to a real story.

It is amazing to see how much controversy can be stirred from a simple post that you think is harmless. Then one that you think will get comments gets none.

So there is no point to this post only to see if it can stir up some meaningless conversation. Feel free to comment on whatever is on your mind because this is only a test.

    Okay, I’ll bite, Kevin!

Pray for me….I’m in financial shambles right now. It looks like my home may possibly be foreclosed on me…etc. It’s a long story. And hopefully I’ve learned some valuable lessons.

    Phil,

    I will pray for you.

Phil: Since Kev wanted light conversation and you’ve popped up in a bad place, this would be a good point for a tired old platitude. So here’s one.

We get our good judgment from our experience, and we get out experience from our bad judgment.

That’s another way of saying yes, you’ll learn from the experience. I just like corny ways of saying stuff.

    I’ll pray for you, too.

Hey Kevin, I placed a response up and now it is down. I’m not blacklisted am I? Did I say something wrong? Do you like me? I like you.

    Jason,

I sent you an email. It will explain.

Phil: I am praying for you as well. The laughing face I posted was in response to Kevin’s post and not to your request. Wanted to clarify.

I like the photo you picked for this post. It made me think of the instant reports we do when we have the chance to do “live blogging.” So here’s a random question … assuming all the Starbucks stores on the face of the planet disappeared … where would you spend time? What would be your locale for meeting the lost? What coffee would you drink?

    Dhawker,

I gave up caffeine 320 days ago…so Starbucks is a distant memory for me anyway.

Wow, Phil, almost a whole year without caffeine. Does your mind feel clearer? Are we as a nation really over-hyped on the stuff?

If this is a test, where will you post our final grade?!?

And Phil, I feel your fears as well as your pain; I too will find time to pray for you.

Please have faith, and keep both eyes open for I have find that God always provides a way. Although I will also be the first to admit that His solution can be just a hard to deal with…

I remember someone once saying “God’s ways may be harder on you, but better for you…”

    I’m believing that right now.

I can’t wait to decorate for Christmas! Although I quit believing in Santa, I BECAME him!

Kevin I am shocked, hurt and offended! Truly hurt! I mean the words “useless sack of giraffe dung” pretty cold man. And then for you to go on and say those other things… those of which are too awful to even print!

This blog disturbes me to the core. The CORE Kevin!

    Oh Stuart,

You’ll get over it…I promise…You WILL get over it!

  16. stuartdelonyon 16 Nov 2006 at 9:55 pm 16

Okay I guess. So what are we talking about?

  17. Andrewon 20 Nov 2006 at 4:57 pm 17

Hey! Where did you get that great picture of a teletype machine?

dhawker- maybe the lost aren’t being reached because we don’t guzzle Starbucks? :-D
If you want to preach at me, KB, you’d better learn how to ride a surfboard. No way would I be found at a Starbucks.
