Chuck Norris ‘mania’ sweeping the Net

There are more than 50,000 jokes making their way around the Internet that purport to be “facts” all playing off Chuck Norris’ movie roles as a “tough guy” and his history as a martial arts champion. But they aren’t “jokes” to those who spread them â they’re “facts.”
These “facts” have become a phenomenon â a fad spread mainly by young people of high school and college age. It’s hard to explain why these things happen â how they take on a life of their own. Read about them here.
I’ll admit I watched Walker Texas Ranger. We liked seeing all of the places we had been in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. The acting was not the best but I loved how Walker changed in the last few seasons. It was evident that Chuck Norris had become a believer in Jesus-not just a believer but a follower. This article is more evidence. Thank God for the change in Chuck’s life. May we all have this kind of humility and passion for Christ.

I can admit that I’ve watched Walker, Texas Ranger too.
I also used to own a Debbie Gibson tape also.
All kidding aside, it’s awesome to see someone famous like Chuck Norris that appears to be properly discipled speak out about Christ in a bold, yet humble manner.
Debbie Gibson?
Hey I watched Chuck as well. When I was in the Dallas area in Seminary I worked at a hotel and we had several of the crew would stay with us during shooting of the show.
I will also admit to owning a Debbie Gibson tape as well as a Tiffany tape.
I have known about Chuck’s walk for sometime. He is a member of Prestonwood in Dallas.
I used to love Debbie Gibdson. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one!
The Chuck Norris jokes rock. I have laughed until I’ve cried over some of them. I think my favorite would be:
“Chuck Norris invented black. In fact, he invented the entire spectrum of visible light. Except pink. Tom Cruise invented pink.”
